What is it?
A five day summer science program that explores biology through
hands-on activities, introduces related healthcare careers and
provides instructional materials for teachers to use in their classrooms

When is it?
June 14-18, 2010 from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon
(Continental Breakfast and Lunch will be provided daily)
Where is it?
June 14-17 at Purdue University North Central (PNC) –Biology Lab

Westville, Indiana 4639 (Transportation provided from Knox Middle School-
Leaving daily Mon.-Thurs at 7:15 am , Returning at 12:45 pm)
June 18th at Starke Memorial Hospital-
102 E. Culver Rd.
Knox , In. 46534 (No transportation will be provided on Friday-participants must be
dropped off at the hospital at 8:00 am and picked up there at noon.)

NEW INFORMATION: The Starke County Triad will hold a Pill Drop at the San Pierre Health Fair on August 2, 2009, Sunday, from noon to 2 p.m. only. If you have unused or expired prescription or over the counter medications at home, do not dump the pills down the toilet, but bring them to the Fair for proper disposal.
The San Pierre Health Fair is sponsored by the CROPS Health Network Center. The object of the
fair is to offer a free health community event to the residents in and around San Pierre and to gather information that will be used to provide future outreach services.
Participants are Holm Medical Clinic, Fitness Forum Sports & Wellness, Starke County Community Services, HealthLinc, Purdue Extension, MD Wise, Reins of Life, Inc., Railroad Township Trustee and the ladies of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ. Boxercise demonstrations will be given by youth from the International Boxing Club. Please print the PDF Flyer and help to spread the word!
Services offered by the vendors include blood sugar, blood pressure and blood oxygen levels tests, bone density assessment, body fat analysis, flexibility and health-related information.
